This weeks run was the mirror opposite of last week's--not only did we run up Hemlock instead of down, it was dry and sunny instead of cold and rainy, the parking lot was full instead of empty. Trivia, however, was just as difficult. Jeff Sheldon won the race in 20:23 while Theresa Krebs won the women's side in 25:45.
This week proved that you never know what, or who, will come out when the snow melts. We welcomed back Roxbury Regulars Dan Lynch (or Lamb. His name definitely starts with an "L.") and the Bussom family, Scott, Eunice, and Madelyn, and slightly less Regular, Steve Marsalese. As usual, Madelyn wins for best footwear. Russ shed his winter gear in favor of jet propulsion shoes running at a pace he has not recently matched. Norris, you're on notice! In a pleasant surprise, Paul kept his shirt on while keeping a picture of Nora in his back pocket. We don't even want to know what that's about. And that's not the Royal We, that's actually everyone collectively we. This writer is officially over "BooBoo" as a nickname and will be accepting nominations for a new nickname until an appropriate one is found. Please submit either in person or via our Facebook group.
Next week we'll be running up Ranney, so put your quads on notice now. Have a great week and see you Saturday!
