It was an amazing fall morning for running the 3.7 mile Chalybes Ranney combo. Jeff Sheldon was the overall winner in 21:48 while Theresa Krebs led the women in 26:51. Chris was cracking jokes that Stosh could stop the timer, if he got to it first. Did he know that Stosh has heard these instructions every week? We can just see Stosh rolling his eyes behind those sunglasses. He's a teenager, after all. While we've been secretly referring to Stosh as Jeff Junior, it appears that a Stosh Junior has arrived on the scene. Larry was showing off his "colors" with a nice looking bruise. Looks like a tourniquet snuck up on him. We hope he took it easy enough to continue healing! Jeff was leading the Ranney Express up the hill. Good to see both Nora and Dan back running Roxbury, bad jokes and all.
The Roxbury Half Marathon is a month away. If you aren't running, you're not getting a spot now, so please consider volunteering. There's a sign up sheet on the FB page or you can email or talk with Mary.
Next week is the 3.52 mile course down Hemlock. See you then!
